Our very own John Cruickshank has been nominated for Healthcare IT Champion of the Year at the eHealth Insider Awards 2013!

The top six people from a public vote go through to the final round. Voting for round one will close on the Friday 5 July at 16.00.

John Cruickshank's strategic work with 2020health has made an outstanding contribution to NHS IT, as his publications have mapped, distilled and evaluated technology applications clearly and practically. He has enabled progress in IT, electronic records, and telehealth at a national and local level; demonstrating how we can truly deliver 'healthcare without walls'. John's personal dedication and expertise has led to 2020health facilitating a three year Leadership Exchange Programme between the NHS and the Veterans Health Administration in the US, which is well known for its use of electronic records, patient engagement, and transformative use of telehealth. It has also enabled 2020health to provide personal health records for our staff in partnership with Patients Know Best.
